Project overview
The BAUM KUNSTSTOFFE GMBH belongs to the leading manufacturers of PTFE-/PFA-lined piping parts. We have been approved as supplier by German and European chemical industry as well as plant constructors.
Our plant facilities include a modern and powerful steel production based on welding robots. Therefore we are able to offer our customers to carry out major DIN or ANSI projects at short notice.
To give you an idea about our possibilities we would like to mention some major projects that we carried out in Birkenfeld-Gräfenhausen, some even at the same time. For instance, we delivered lined piping parts for the project "MeCl-Synthesis" of the Wacker-Chemie GmbH in Nünchritz (Germany) and for the "Zeus"-Project of the Krupp-Uhde GmbH (now: Uhde GmbH, Germany). A further milestone was the "VZ-Project" of the Bayer AG in Dormagen (Germany). The deliveries were organised according to isometric drawings. Thus we supported the project team to keep the deadlines.
When looking at the assembly the piping parts the production of spacing sleeves and spacers can be carried out at short notice.
The quality of our parts is continuously surveyed by our quality management system. Our quality management is certified by the TÜV Süddeutschland. The production and acceptance according the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC) is ensured.
All piping parts are delivered with certificates and can be used in plants which are subject to official control. <
